Lecturer in Sustainable Finance and ESG at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, having created and directing the first graduate-level (Master’s/PhD) course on Sustainable Finance in Japan. Also founding director of the Japan Sustainable Finance Research Network and the EU-Japan Sustainable Finance Research Center.

ESG Research Specialist, Data Expert, and Sustainable Finance Consultant. In addition, Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), and assuming an adjunct climate and environmental policy consultant function for the Luxembourg Government besides my research activities at the University of Oxford.

Member of the GRI’s Sustainability Standards Board (GSSB) and the ISO Technical Committees on Sustainable Finance and Environmental Management. Member of Technical Working Groups of the Climate Disclosure Standards Board (CDSB) and Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI).

Member of the Economy and Society: Transformations and Justice research cluster (School of Geography and the Environment, University of Oxford). Adjunct Lecturer in Sustainable Finance at the University of Luxembourg.

Work and research focus on ESG Research, Non-financial Disclosure, ESG Impact Analysis, Sustainable Finance, Sustainable Energy Transition, Clean Energy Technology Development, Climate Change Law and Policy, Nature-related risks, Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services, and Environmental Regulatory Procedures.
