The number of women realtors has significantly increased in the 21st century as compared to the number in the 20th century. Today, women represent a majority of realtors in the US, making up 67% of realtors. In an industry that was male-dominated in the past, this is a big win for females in the real estate industry.

Economists at the online home sale marketing company predict that the housing market may not reach the remarkable heights of 2021. Zillow's forecast calls for 11 percent home value growth in 2022, down from a projected 19.5 percent in 2021.

Ila Corcoran

Ila Corcoran

Ila is a real estate agent who found her passion working within the residential industry after spending time briefly in the commercial real estate space. She decided to venture into this industry after her family experienced foreclosure.

She saw potential to help people create security through housing and homeownership. For 2 years, she worked closely with homeowners and real estate professionals in order to help them maximize their investments and avoid the threats of discount buyers and/or foreclosure. In 2021 alone, she led a team to close more than $80m in transaction volume across numerous states.

She strongly believes that financial/housing security is a right that all people are deserving of.

During her free time, she enjoys serving apartment communities across Los Angeles as well as non-profit housing spaces dedicated to those experiencing homelessness.

Taylor Sledge

Taylor is a real estate agent whose speciality is the Southern California housing market. She realized her interest for real estate during grade school while spending weekends with her stepfather exploring the beautiful homes in the opulent neighborhoods of Long Beach, like Bixby Knolls.

She obtained her Real Estate License during her final year of undergrad at California State University of Long Beach, where she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice .

Always up for a good challenge, Taylor is constantly researching and walking new markets to expand her knowledge base so that she can serve clients throughout all of Southern California at a high level.

Prior to joining Bay Street Capital Holdings, Taylor was the Chief of Staff of a boutique real estate investment firm and the Community Manager of Vector90, a co-working space in the Crenshaw District of South Los Angeles.

When she’s not working, she enjoys roller skating, spending time with family and keeping up with the latest binge worthy series.

Ariel is not only a realtor but also a dynamic entrepreneur and social media guru. She started off as a music manager but later transitioned into the Virginia real estate industry. She has set herself apart by creating a strong brand on Instagram. She has successfully managed to synergize her personal brand and business-related account on Instagram, in order to create a reputable brand for herself overall. On there, she focuses on sharing information on real estate, investing and personal finance tips.

Famously known as The Money Realtor, she has released a 37-page e-book called "From Instagram to Instant Money". The e-book became a huge success and landed her a feature on Hollywood Unlocked and Official Black Wall Street.

She now uses her Instagram account to generate new real estate leads. This move has made her become among the most well-known realtors who are making waves both in her industry and online.

Bronwyn Leigh Jones is the founder and CEO of Coral Sustainable Services, LLC. The company facilitates introductions to customers and source capital (grants, equity, and debt capital) in the USA, Australia, Asia, India and Europe. As a real estate advisor, her greatest pride and joy is helping her clients find their dream homes.

Before venturing into the real estate industry, she was an actor, singer, and model in Bondi Beach, Australia. In 2014, her journey in real estate began when she became a key advisor to the International WELL Building Institute.

With a reputation of maintaining confidentiality when working with her clients, some of who are public figures in the entertainment industry and professional athletes, she has successfully managed to build a close network of strong lifelong relationships.

She started off as an entrepreneur managing a commercial and residential portfolio for a private investment firm. After that, she transitioned into commercial brokerage as a tenant rep with UGL-Equis.

With an undergrad degree in Chemistry and Spanish, Kenisha is known to do market research, analysis of the legal document required and then strategize in order to come up with the best solutions for her clients, based on their specific needs. She is a member of: the Board of REALTORS® and the GA Assoc. of Business Brokers.

In 2020, she was awarded GlobeSt, Broker of the year - Tenant Rep and was also recognized as a Woman of Influence in CRE. In 2019, she was the recipient of the Connect Media Woman In Commercial Real Estate Award.

She is passionate about serving her community, and one of the ways in which she does this is by donating 10% of her commissions to local and international charities.

Leslie D. Hale

Leslie can be considered as among the most successful women in real estate as she made history as the first African-American woman to lead a public real estate investment trust. This move is considered an incredible success as she achieved this when only 1.5%, or 11 people out of all 726 executive officers across the REITs, are Black.

She attended Howard University, a historically Black college in Washington, D.C., and Harvard Business School. She handled debt, equity, and real-estate investments during a stint at GE Capital Corp., and then advised on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions at Goldman Sachs.

Through a mentor of hers in the real estate industry, she was introduced to Mr. Baltimore who co-founded the predecessor of RLJ Lodging with Robert L. Johnson. Six months later after that meeting, she became a team member of RLJ where she continued to be the head of a public real estate company and one of the very successful and influential women in real estate.

Lindsey grew up in the Atlantic Highlands and she was business-minded from a very young age. At 12 years old, she started her dog walking business with a friend in her neighborhood. Since then, Lindsey has managed to build a successful career for herself in the real estate industry.

Steadily, she has risen through the ranks and has worked in different sectors within the field. She has in the past represented buyers, sellers, investors and banks in the residential market

This move has positioned her alongside some movers and shakers in the real estate industy. Being in this position has been integral for her success so far.
